Tourist board of Vrsi
Vrsi is located on the homonymous peninsula in the far northwestern part of northern Dalmatia, around 20 km away from Zadar and about 5 km from the oldest Croatian royal town of Nin.
The town got its name from its position at the top, and that is the name of Vrsi, which is the plural of the top, instead of the peaks.
Today's village Vrsi has an area slightly larger than 2,467 acres and about 1,700 permanent residents populous Roman Catholic faith.
Vrsi is a beautiful coastline, about 30 km, rich natural beaches and bays suitable for swimming or simply for the peaceful vacation far away from urban centers.
There are also two small islands Mišjak and rabbits.
The small island Zečevo is especially interesting because at low tide turns in the peninsula, and the tide make it the island .. On this island there is a church of Our Lady of Zečevo where believers make a pilgrimage each year on 5 May and 5 August.
Carried out are grown on the basis of four old Croatian settlements, and today from Vrsi grow 2 new settlements, Mulo and Zukve.
